I recently joined my husband, Daniel Lewis, to The K Club for his keynote, “Connection is the New Currency” for an event called Insights Ireland. It’s a perfect place to talk about connection because Ireland just gets it. The warmth of the Irish is something you always read about, but you’ll never really understand it until you experience it for yourself.
The K Club was my very first taste of Ireland, the first property I visited right after flying into Dublin. The drive from the airport leads into those rolling green fields, grazing horses, and tiny villages you imagine when you think of Ireland. Then, slowly, the estate starts to reveal itself. It is massive, elegant, and ready for a movie where the guy falls in love with the girl who’s engaged to the duke (or something like that).
Céad Míle Fáilte
The steps into the K Club were the first places I heard the famous Irish welcome: “Céad Míle Fáilte” or a hundred thousand welcomes. As our luggage was carried to our room, the two gentlemen began to teach us the how to pronounce it. Throughout my tour of Ireland I came to understand that this wasn’t just a greeting. It was a promise, and the heart of the people of the Emerald Isle

A deluxe room to settle into
We stayed in a Deluxe Room, which felt like personal sanctuary and a movie set. Floral patters, plush bedding, and a bathtub you’ll never want to leave make it a room where you want to relax, whether it’s reading a book by the window or sinking into the comfy bed after a long day of exploring the grounds. Large windows frame the lush green views of the estate, so even when you’re inside, you feel connected to the landscape.

Life on the estate
The K Club is a place to do things. Golf courses go for miles, inviting both the novice and the expert. You can wander by the river, take a tennis lesson, or treat yourseld to the spa. And for those who prefer a slower pace, the gardens themselves are worth hours of quiet exploration.
Perfect for Events, Incentives, and Connection
Seeing the property in action during an event, I understood why The K Club is an ideal venue if you’re planning an event. It manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time, making it perfect for corporate retreats, incentive programs, or celebrations where you want people to leave inspired and connected.
There’s space to gather and celebrate, room for reflection, and activities that pull people out of their comfort zones. The size of the estate allows for both private moments and larger shared experiences, all wrapped up in that unmistakable Irish hospitality.
A Moment to Remember
If you find yourself here, at The K Club in Kildare, make sure you wander into the little forest trails around sunset. The way the sun filters through the trees, will remind you exactly why Ireland has always been on your bucketlist.
